This NGWA conference focuses on the fate and transport of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from contaminated sites through groundwater, surface water, and other environmental media, to drinking water and agricultural systems. The chemistry and environmental behavior of PFAS, as well as regulatory and toxicological evolution, create significant challenges for project planning, risk communication, and programmatic management. This conference will address hydrologic and environmental issues as well as provide updates on regulations and toxicological studies and their effect on groundwater clean-up standards

The conference, planned to be held virtually, is intended to provide an opportunity to share lessons learned and present state-of-the practice in scientific and management approaches to addressing this high-profile issue.
